Our office can only defer your I-20. To defer your admission you must communicate with the undergraduate or graduate admissions office.
All documents must be scanned and submitted in a clear, readable, PDF format. If your document has multiple pages, you should combine your files together to submit them in one large PDF file for the appropriate documentation listed below. *Documents submitted that are not legible will be rejected and will not be considered for I-20 creation, which will delay the process.*
Example: If you are approved during July or August (before the fall start date) and your program only admits for the spring you will be required to enroll full-time in the fall as an F-1 student. You must contact your academic department regarding temporary program changes to meet F-1 regulations.
Previously sent financial documentation is valid for 6 months, you will not be asked to resubmit financial documents if it has been less than 6 months from when you received your I-20.
Questions below are optional in case you are updating your financial documents.
Important: If you were previously receiving a scholarship/assistantship you must upload updated award letter for new term as proof that you will still be receiving a scholarship/assistantship the next semester.
