OPT Workshop

Graduating F-1 students interested in applying for Post-Completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) are invited to attend an introductory workshop before submitting an OPT request to the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) or application to U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS).

The Post-Completion OPT Workshop covers essential information about the benefit such as eligibility requirements, application process, and timeline. Students will leave with an understanding of how and when to apply for OPT. Students may attend an OPT Workshop whenever the interest sets in, however, it’s recommended to attend with enough time before the end of the program of study.
