As an F-1 student you must request DSO authorization to take courses at another SEVP-approved institution while enrolled at Texas State University.

Complete the Concurrent/Correspondence Enrollment Form and submit your request on the Concurrent/Correspondence Enrollment Request Portal.

An I-20 Program Extension is used to extend your I-20 end date if you need more time to complete required courses for your program.

Complete the I-20 Program Extension Form, with supporting documentation, and submit your request on the I-20 Program Extension Submission Portal.

Request authorization to enroll less than full-time by submitting a Reduced Course Load.

Registrar’s Office Enrollment Verification Letter

You can download, save and print your own form. This form is considered official as it bears the University Registrar’s signature and the University seal.

Reinstatement to Active F-1 Status

This form is used when a student falls out of F-1 status and wants to apply to USCIS to be reinstated to an F-1.
